Dear Friends,
I am announcing my decision to run for Menifee City Council in District 4 in the November 2nd, 2010 election. While the city has done some good things up to this point; I believe there could be improvements in the city service. I have a professional and business background in the area and I know I have the experience that can help you to acquire a higher level of service from our city without raising fees or taxes.
As a retired business woman I am very involved in the City of Menifee. I am married with two grown sons and two grandchildren. My older son and grandsons reside in the Quail Valley community of Menifee; they work and attend school in Menifee. My younger son lives in Oregon. Both of my sons have proudly served in the military.
I live in Sun Meadows, a 55 + community and understand the Senior concerns and have worked with the Seniors and the City to maintain their status. Also as a Grandmother I am acutely aware of the needs of the young families and the youth in Menifee and will work for both youth centers and sport parks.
As the Vice Chair of the General Plan Advisory Committee, I am very passionate about Menifee and how I envision Menifee in 10 years. I am working to ensure smart growth and appropriate housing density, infrastructure and economic growth.
